NAO is famous all over the world. A great programming tool, it has become a reference in education and research.

Also used as an assistant by companies and health facilities, NAO makes it possible to welcome, inform and entertain visitors.

Many students with ASD in my class have extensive communication needs, and struggle to interact with their peers and teachers. Specific purpose of the inclusive learning resource

Inclusive learning intervention logic: (What specific objective is the resource intended to achieve to contribute to the overall objectives?) 

NAO is an interactive, educational and easily implemented tool for engaging children through personalized application services for special education. This tool was not originally created to support the learning and care of young people with ASD. However, with these faculties, associations of parents abroad, schools and professionals have understood the possibilities of translating applications with educational and behavioral care.

It is used successfully to focus the attention of children with ASD. It can not replace a therapist, but it is an additional tool to try to alleviate the symptoms of this disorder, such as the deficit of joint attention.

Robots enable the implementation of effective inclusive practices and promote education for students with disabilities (autism or emotional and behavioral disorders). Pepper and NAO easily connect empathy with children, stimulate and motivate the youngest in intellectual and physical exercises, and develop their social and emotional skills.
