Overall objectives of the inclusive learning resource

Inclusive learning intervention logic: (What are the overall broader objectives to which the action will contribute?)

The assessment tool is intended to help you reflect on how your school is doing with regard to supporting disabled students in the development of ICT and ICT-AT skills.

The tool will help you identify the areas in which your school should increase its efforts in order to increase outcomes.

It further provides guidance in the definition of an action plan. In that case the worksheets provided will become collaboration tools between staff members.

Objectively verifiable indicators of achievement: (What are the key indicators related to the overall objectives?)

Sources and means of verification: (What are the sources of information for these indicators?)

Risks and Challenges:

Specific purpose of the inclusive learning resource

Inclusive learning intervention logic: (What specific objective is the resource intended to achieve to contribute to the overall objectives?)

The framework presents 10 areas of assessment, grouped in 2 chapters: policy and practices.

There are two versions of the tool:

• A short version with a broad descriptor of good practice for each area. This version is particularly intended for schools that are at the start of their thinking and planning of a strategy in this field.

• An extended version with four descriptors of good practice for each area. The extended version also includes typical questions that help you to understand the criteria and to assess at what stage of achievement you are. This version is particularly intended for schools that have already thought about policies and practices in this field and that want to fine tune their strategies.

Objectively verifiable indicators of achievement: (Which indicators clearly show that the objective of the actions/resource has been achieved?)

Sources and means of verification: (What are the sources of  information that exist or can be collected? What are the methods required to get this information?)

The ENTELIS network has developed a self-assessment framework for schools. It aims at providing formal education providers that welcome students with disabilities of all ages the opportunity to reflect on where they stand when it comes to supporting the development of the digital skills of ALL their students.

Worksheets that help the school in planning actions aiming at improving outcomes. School staff is invited to take notice of these tools and to use them, where possible involving teams of staff members.

Risks and Challenges: (Which factors and conditions outside the user's responsibility are necessary to achieve that objective? (external conditions)) Which risks should be taken into consideration?

It could be useful to use the assessment framework again in six months or a year’s time to evaluate the impact of the changes you have made and determine where further changes are required.

Expected results on implementation of the resource

Inclusive learning intervention logic: (The results are the outputs envisaged to upscale. What are the expected results?)

Using this assessment tool will help teachers to reevaluate their practices regarding inclusive education

Objectively verifiable indicators of achievement: (What are the indicators to measure whether and to what extent the action/resource achieves the expected results?)

Sources and means of verification: (What are the available sources of information for these indicators?)

Risks and Challenges: (What external conditions must be met to obtain the expected results on schedule?)

Activities

Inclusive learning intervention logic: (What are the key activities to be carried out and in what sequence in order to reach the expected results?)
