Overall objectives of the inclusive learning resource
Inclusive learning intervention logic: (What are the overall broader objectives to which the action will contribute?)
An innovative toolkit for inclusive decision making policies
Objectively verifiable indicators of achievement: (What are the key indicators related to the overall objectives?)
Sources and means of verification: (What are the sources of information for these indicators?)
The project aims to develop an innovative toolkit, a mobile app, and an induction course to support evidence-based policy making that can lead to the reduction of disparities in learning outcomes and marginalization, by supporting school leaders, school staff, and policymakers to engage in shared and inclusive decision making. By implementing the toolkit and collecting rich data, partners will better understand the complexities of how decisions at school level influence marginalized groups. The project will also develop concrete recommendations for policy and practice on how to engage in shared decision making, giving voice to all stakeholders.
Risks and Challenges:
Specific purpose of the inclusive learning resource
Inclusive learning intervention logic: (What specific objective is the resource intended to achieve to contribute to the overall objectives?)
The project iDecide aims to develop an innovative toolkit and induction course to support evidence-based policy making that can lead to the reduction of disparities in learning outcomes and marginalization, by supporting school leaders, school staff, and policymakers to engage in shared and inclusive decision making.
The iDecide toolkit has been designed to provide the school leaders and school staff with the necessary information to promote shared decision making regarding the development, implementation, evaluation and improvement of inclusive policies.
Objectively verifiable indicators of achievement: (Which indicators clearly show that the objective of the actions/resource has been achieved?)
Sources and means of verification: (What are the sources of information that exist or can be collected? What are the methods required to get this information?)
CARDET, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Culture from Cyprus and partners from 5 EU countries participate in the project iDecide, under the ERASMUS+ KA3 Support for Policy Reform program of the European Commission.
Risks and Challenges: (Which factors and conditions outside the user's responsibility are necessary to achieve that objective? (external conditions)) Which risks should be taken into consideration?
Expected results on implementation of the resource
Inclusive learning intervention logic: (The results are the outputs envisaged to upscale. What are the expected results?)
The project aims to develop an innovative toolkit, a mobile app, and an induction course to support evidence-based policy making that can lead to the reduction of disparities in learning outcomes and marginalization
Objectively verifiable indicators of achievement: (What are the indicators to measure whether and to what extent the action/resource achieves the expected results?)
Sources and means of verification: (What are the available sources of information for these indicators?)
Main Goals:
1)To develop an innovative toolkit and an induction course - (face-to-face & on-line) for school leaders and school staff, based on effective principles and processes to promote shared decision making regarding the development, implementation, evaluation and improvement of inclusive policies.
2) Support evidence-based policy-making which can lead to the reduction of disparities in learning outcomes and marginalisation in schools.
3)Support the EU in reducing disparities in learning outcomes affecting learners from disadvantaged backgrounds.
4) Strengthen cooperation & exchange of information and good practices between different areas of Europe
Risks and Challenges: (What external conditions must be met to obtain the expected results on schedule?)
Activities
Inclusive learning intervention logic: (What are the key activities to be carried out and in what sequence in order to reach the expected results?)
