Specific purpose of the inclusive learning resource
Inclusive learning intervention logic: (What specific objective is the resource intended to achieve to contribute to the overall objectives?)
To facilitate the development of a unified support system and provide an inclusive educational environment, January 4, 2011, National Centre for Education of the Republic of Latvia and the State Education Agency signed an agreement on the implementation of the European Social Fund project “Development of a Support System for Students with Functional Disabilities”.
One of the tasks of the project is the establishment of special education laboratories and their operation in Latvian higher education institutions for scientific research on special education issues and training of teachers.

The methodological material is designed to support preschool and school teachers, support team members.

To gain knowledge, understanding and skills for pedagogical work with children in problem situations: situations where it is necessary to recognize behavioral manifestations as pre-disorder predictions, assess behavior in relation to factors affecting it; situations, when the educator has to organize a group of children with different behaviors and choose the most appropriate techniques; in situations with the child's parents to provide them with guidance and networking.

The methodological material includes recommendations that preschool teachers and teachers, support teams should use while working with children with behaviour problems.

Activities
Inclusive learning intervention logic: (What are the key activities to be carried out and in what sequence in order to reach the expected results?)
The first section deals with behavioral disorders as a phenomenon. The second section contains the most extensive material and describes the pedagogical strategies work in children's groups. The third section is dedicated to teachers of pre-school groups. Chapter Four the complexity of the correction work is described. The methodological material has an illustrated appendix - worksheets for classes with children. There are included several activities in the methodological material: time for reflection, working with recommended literature, analyses of problem cases, recommendations.

Methodological materials have been prepared by the National Center for Education of the Republic of Latvia, therefore their implementation and costs are the responsibility of state institutions.
