To facilitate the development of a unified support system and provide an inclusive educational environment, January 4, 2011, National Centre for Education of the Republic of Latvia and the State Education Agency signed an agreement on the implementation of the European Social Fund project “Development of a Support System for Students with Functional Disabilities”.
One of the tasks of the project is the establishment of special education laboratories and their operation in Latvian higher education institutions for scientific research on special education issues and training of teachers.

Activities
Inclusive learning intervention logic: (What are the key activities to be carried out and in what sequence in order to reach the expected results?)
The first section deals with learning disability as a phenomenon. The second section deals with visual impairments as a phenomenon. The third section contains the evaluation sheets. The fourth section contains the most extensive material and describes the pedagogical strategies. The fifth section is dedicated to recommendations to teachers. The sixth section explains how to develop remainders for students and the last one covers the cooperation with parents.
