Overall objectives of the inclusive learning resource

Inclusive learning intervention logic: (What are the overall broader objectives to which the action will contribute?)

ATIS4 ALL is a European Thematic Network aiming to facilitate everyone's access to the most suitable assistive technologies (AT) or accessibility device and service according to the user’s needs, preferences, and the contextual characteristics.

Objectively verifiable indicators of achievement: (What are the key indicators related to the overall objectives?)

Sources and means of verification: (What are the sources of information for these indicators?)

The portal is being created by thematic network "ATIS4all" - Assistive Technologies and Inclusive Solutions for All – jointly with thematic network “ETNA” -European Thematic Network on Assistive Information and Communication Technologies. Both Thematic Network projects are funded European projects that began in January 2011 and will conclude in December 2013.

The joint portal takes advantage of existing repositories and other Internet resources based on ICT-AT thanks to the previous work of “EASTIN” - European Assistive Technology Information Network- and will provide registered members with functions to get information of ICT-based AT products as well as the possibility of commenting, and sharing knowledge through a “community” by means of different forums and an expert blog.

Risks and Challenges:

Specific purpose of the inclusive learning resource

Inclusive learning intervention logic: (What specific objective is the resource intended to achieve to contribute to the overall objectives?)

The main objectives are dynamiting the exchange of knowledge and expertise about Assistive Technologies and inclusive solutions, and sharing information among key actors and end users, by means of an open and collaborative portal.

Objectively verifiable indicators of achievement: (Which indicators clearly show that the objective of the actions/resource has been achieved?)

Sources and means of verification: (What are the sources of  information that exist or can be collected? What are the methods required to get this information?)

ATIS4all works in collaboration with the ETNA Thematic Network, forming the ETNATIS Cluster.

This cluster has established a joint portal named Atis4All collaborative portal with an on-line community and a search engine. This portal is being updated and already provides information on assistive devices and services, as well as a full range of information around on assistive technologies.

Risks and Challenges: (Which factors and conditions outside the user's responsibility are necessary to achieve that objective? (external conditions)) Which risks should be taken into consideration?

Expected results on implementation of the resource

Inclusive learning intervention logic: (The results are the outputs envisaged to upscale. What are the expected results?)

The expected result is a collaborative portal where experts of Assistive Technologies will share information among key actors and end users of Assistive Technology and a search engine that aggregates information from various providers and repositories all over Europe and beyond,

Objectively verifiable indicators of achievement: (What are the indicators to measure whether and to what extent the action/resource achieves the expected results?)

The cooperation between the two networks has led to the creation of two coexisting, communicating portals:

- the ETNA information system (http://test.etna-project.eu- a search engine that aggregates information from various providers and repositories all over Europe and beyond, which will be later lnherited and led by the EASTIN Association, thus giving birth to the EASTIN 2.0 Portal (www.eastin.eu) - and the ATIS4all collaborativeportal (http://collaborativeportal.atis4all.eu) - an open

- α collaborative portal that offers reliable information on ICT ATs, inclusive solutions and R&D initiatives, and fosters online discussion, exchange of knowledge, expertise and sharing of information among its different portal members, which aims to benefit all key actors in the value chain of ICT ATs and accessibility products.

Sources and means of verification: (What are the available sources of information for these indicators?)

ATIS4all is partially funded by the Programme ICT-PSP (Information and Communication Technology - Policy Support Programme) of the European Parliament as part of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme.

Risks and Challenges: (What external conditions must be met to obtain the expected results on schedule?)

Activities

Inclusive learning intervention logic: (What are the key activities to be carried out and in what sequence in order to reach the expected results?)

Objectively verifiable indicators of achievement: (What are the means required to implement these activities, e.g. personnel, equipment, training, studies, supplies, operational facilities, etc.)

You will need to have access to printer in order to print the different screening forms and the guidance report if you want to have it in printed form.

Sources and means of verification: (What are the sources of information about action progress?)

Users can access the EASTIN search engine and search to gain information for Assistive Tools for Free in the link below http://www.eastin.eu/el-CY/searches/Products/Index

Risks and Challenges: (What pre-conditions are required before the use of the resource starts? What conditions outside the user's direct control have to be met for the implementation of the planned activities?)
