Description of good practice:
The BUET team proposed EEG signal based system can make the paralyzed people self reliant and give them the freedom that a normal person enjoys. By detecting the signal that the brain emits to blink eye, home appliances, ac system, wheelchair and any digital system can be controlled. It is to be noted that the system performed pretty well for a good range of people of different ages for both male and female. The system is also very reliable and accurate for sophisticated application. A very important feature of this system is that it offers voice command option for the deaf and mute people. Another important aspect is any system can be easily interfaced with the proposed system and multitasking can be efficiently used. To summarize, the proposed system has a global vision to lessen the suffering of the disabled people and make them self reliant.
