The Faculty Commission for Ethics and Academic Unity in The Faculty of economics and social sciences (FESS) in PU is a public body and operates in accordance with the following regulations: • Rules for the organization and activity of the commission • Code of Ethics The Faculty Commission functions independently, but works in synchrony with the University Ethics Committee at Plovdiv University The activity of the lecturers, employees and students at the University is carried out in compliance with the following principles: Legality - everyone who works at the University strictly observes the legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria and the internal regulations of the University. Non-discrimination in any form based on sex, race, nationality, ethnicity, human genome, citizenship, origin, religion or belief, education, beliefs, political affiliation, personal or social status, disability, age, sexual orientation, family position, property status or any other features established by law or in an international agreement to which the Republic of Bulgaria is a party. Honesty and integrity - correct presentation of one's point of view.1The European Charter for Researchers - approved by the European Commission on 11.03.2005.2 The Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers - approved by the European Commission on 11.03.2005 Dignity - preserving the personal and other dignity of the team members. Impartiality - in their work, teachers and staff are guided only by the interests of the University. Political neutrality - no political activity is carried out at the University and the ideas of any political party are not preached. Competence, responsibility - teachers and employees perform their assigned tasks with high professionalism and a developed sense of duty. Confidentiality - teachers and employees do not disclose information that is officially known to them.
