Article 24 of the UN Convention on the rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) recognizes the right of children with disabilities to education without discrimination and that they should be able to participate in the general education system., In India, the Right to Education Act, 2009 became a milestone in inclusive education as it amended as a fundamental right to education for children up to the age of 14 years. Inclusive education is a new approach towards educating the children with disability and learning difficulties with that of normal ones within the same roof. It brings all students together in one classroom and community, regardless of their strengths or weaknesses in any area. The inclusive approach gave lot of emphasis on the educational inclusion of the child without any discrimination. Education for All (EFA) stressed inclusive education in school. Many problems, for example, absence of accomplished educators, educational modules, assets, great infrastructural offices, mindfulness, uplifting disposition, plans, and strategies are making obstacles for broadening the idea of inclusive education in India. The present study throws its light on the various aspects of inclusive education in India”.
