Description of good practice:
This is a project of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” library. The outcome is of the project is development of adapted information services for people with disabilities in support of their educational and professional activities. Core educational materials has been scanned and digitalized. University students with disabilities have access to them for free upon request. The provided digital materials are accessible for people with visual impairments via Screen reader software in Bulgarian language. Continuing qualification of university library staff I carried out on regular basis. The library is collaborating with publishing houses for providing of their published literature in electronic format.
