Title of practice: The Integrated Children’s Center run by the Salvation Army
Author/developer: The Salvation Army
Language: English
Description of good practice:
In Bangladesh, orphans and children with disabilities lack access to education and protective care, leaving them vulnerable to abuse and neglect.

The Salvation Army’s Integrated Children’s Center eliminates barriers to education and challenges stigmas by offering a boarding school for children with visual impairments, a home for orphaned and at-risk girls and a primary school open to children from the wider community.

They collect sponsorship from people. This sponsorship provides vulnerable children at Salvation Army children's homes, schools, and community centers with the resources they need so that they can thrive! This sponsorship directly meets the critical needs of the children (food, shelter, medical care, education and vocational training) at a Salvation Army center and helps fund projects and long-term programs.
