Title of practice: TVET
Author/developer: EduCluster Finland
Language: English, Spanish
Description of good practice:
Finnish TVET has advanced through elevating the prominence of educators and students, developing cutting-edge futures-oriented training for students, and providing access to competence-based certifications for quick student entry into the labor force. The Finnish TVET tagline is 'working together works,' and this now includes collaboration with TVET instructors and students all around the world. The idea of Finnish schools, including TVET institutions, is that every student is likely to have some type of special need at some time throughout their educational career. This urge, whatever its source, might create impediments to learning. One of the drivers of success in Finnish TVET is overcoming these hurdles in a timely and creative manner. As a consequence, there is a high rate of inclusion (students who are not separated due to long or short-term physical or psychological issues) and a high percentage of student retention.
