According to the principle of equal opportunity in education, visually impaired students should have the same rights as their peers in terms of accessing and using information. However, visually impaired students are at a disadvantage in science lessons where abstract concepts are intense and visual elements are prominent. With this project, it is aimed to develop innovative teaching methods and materials in order to enable visually impaired students to learn the achievements in science lessons on equal terms with their peers. The general objectives of the project are to eliminate barriers in order to ensure equality of opportunity in education and to create a society that respects differences in the educational environment.
