As part of the project, all partners collected good practices. In order to cover the whole field, the work focused on three target groups / three levels.

The collection of good practices and the analysis of data allowed us to look at existing experiences in different countries in relation to all target groups and at all levels, but with a particular focus on the international level.

A total of 333 good practices were collected and evaluated during the project. Most of them in English (278), but a significant number are also in Bulgarian (32) and Turkish (19).

Although some of the good practices are not in English, all of the descriptions are, and can be translated and adapted as needed (at the request of Asian partners).

Description of good practice:	A portable audio player designed to allow a person to listen to Digital Accessible Information System (DAISY) books, music, CDs and audio books on CD. DAISY books are used by people who are blind, vision impaired or print-disabled. Suitable for children and adults. DAISY stands for Digital Accessible Information System. DAISY books enable people who are blind, have low vision or unable to read standard print, to browse through the book using the table of contents and index in much the same way as a sighted reader. These DAISY books can be read on a portable player, known as a digital playback device or on a computer with DAISY software. The digital playback device is fully accessible, providing audio descriptions of the function of each button. The player is designed to enable a person to listen to any form of CD. Links between text and narration, allow a reader of DAISY books to go directly to specific sections, chapters or pages, and place bookmarks. This ability to move around a book is not available with books on tape or CD. The digital playback devices can be upgraded over time by installing new software. All CDs have a raised groove on one side, near the hole at the centre of the disk. Insert CDs with the raised groove down. If one insert the disk in the wrong way, the player will simply eject it or give an audible error message that requires the CD to be turned over. Materials provided with the player, such as the "Getting Started" CD, will help to learn how to use player.
